ASELSAN has initially started working on the AVCI helmet project, which will be used in the ATAK helicopter project.
The AVCI Helmet system will continuously monitor the pilot's head position using a Head Tracking unit, ensuring precise positioning relative to the helicopter. This positional information will then be used to automatically guide all sensor and weapon systems towards the target the pilot is facing.
The weapon system's guidance will be carried out in conjunction with the Mission Computer, also designed by ASELSAN for the ATAK project, which manages all avionics and weapon systems on the helicopter. This will enable our pilots to hit targets with high accuracy by tracking them with their eyesight.
Once the AVCI helmet system is completed and manufacturing begins, it can be easily integrated into all aircraft.
