Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has completed the design, analysis, production, and qualification processes of structural components for satellite equipment using three-dimensional printers based on Additive Manufacturing Technology for the first time in Türkiye.
In the Additive Manufacturing Technology Center facilities established by TUSAŞ with its national center of excellence vision, the largest-scale titanium and aluminum alloy strategic aviation and aerospace components of our country will be produced, starting from the raw material stage. Furthermore, through projects carried out in partnership with the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industry Directorate (SSB) and the Production Technologies Excellence Center (ÜRTEMM A.Ş.), two different high-energy 3D printers will be developed domestically, bringing high-tech production capabilities to our country.
