VitrA and Artema were awarded first prize first in Türkiye and then in Europe within the scope of the "European Union Environmental Awards".
Eczacıbaşı Building Materials, having won first place in the Turkey Program organized by the Regional Environmental Center (REC Turkey), subsequently won first place in the "Management" category of the program organized by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Environment. Thus, for the first time since the program began in 1987, a Turkish company received an award. The award, won for the VitrA and Artema brands' holistic sustainability management system Blue Life, was presented to Erdal Karamercan, CEO of the Eczacıbaşı Group, at a ceremony held in Lyon, France, on December 1, 2014.
