Canik, one of Türkiye's leading small arms manufacturers, has announced its own optics brand, Canik Optics, in a strategic move that frees its firearms ecosystem from external dependency. Four new domestic "red dot" optics models, developed for the modern needs of today's shooters, law enforcement and professionals, are offered under two different series: ONYX and PHANTOM.
Advanced optical engineering, a motion-activated intelligent illumination system (shake-awake technology) and a structure resistant to harsh field conditions, all offered as standard across all models, demonstrate that Canik intends to carry its competitive strength in the global market over to optical equipment as well.
ONYX Series: Compact Design, Maximum Vision
Designed as 2 models with an open emitter structure, the ONYX series places speed and ergonomics at its centre. ONYXc offers ideal reliability for concealed carry and daily use thanks to its compact design, while enabling far faster target acquisition. ONYX XL, a model developed specifically for competitive performance, dynamic shooting sports and tactical use, combines high speed and precision with its wide field of view.
PHANTOM Series: Closed Emitter, Solar-Assisted Technology
The PHANTOM series, produced with a closed-emitter architecture for demanding professional applications, dust, mud and severe weather conditions, includes 2 models offering high-level durability. PHANTOMc provides closed emitter protection on a compact platform, fully isolating its moving parts and light source from external factors. PHANTOM, the flagship model of the series, guarantees uninterrupted and durable optical performance under heavy mission conditions by maximising battery life thanks to its solar-assisted technology (solar failsafe).
Initially Only in the US Market
These four next-generation optical sights developed under the Canik Optics brand have initially been made available to users in the United States (US). There is not yet any information regarding when the newly announced ONYX and PHANTOM series Canik Optics optical sights will go on sale in the Turkish and European markets.
