“HÜRKUŞ” has passed another important step in its flight tests.

Following the completion of ground and taxi tests, HÜRKUŞ successfully performed its "First Flight" at TUSAŞ facilities on August 29, 2013.

Designed and manufactured by our engineers to meet the Turkish Armed Forces' training and armed light close air support aircraft needs, the Basic Training Aircraft “HÜRKUŞ” successfully completed its “First Flight” at TUSAŞ facilities on August 29, 2013, following the completion of ground and taxi tests.

In the 40 flights conducted since the first flight, a total of 43 hours of flight time have been accumulated, reaching an altitude of 15,500 feet and a speed of 255 knots. The forward center of gravity (CG) tests were completed with the flight conducted on April 9, 2014.
