Karsan, one of the 15 companies pre-qualified by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to produce a prototype of its next-generation delivery vehicle, has received its first prototype order.
Karsan, which manufactures modern public transport and commercial vehicles suitable for the mobility needs of the era in its two separate factories located in Bursa, both for the domestic market and for export, has managed to reach the finals as one of the six companies that will produce the "next-generation delivery vehicle (NGDV)" prototype. The US Postal Service will take these trials and evaluations into account in its forward-looking planning for its fleet renewal needs when making its selection.
