Bayraktar KIZILELMA achieved direct hits on targets using TEBER-82 and TOLUN-P munitions during test firings conducted from its internal weapons bay. Test footage shared by Baykar via its social media account demonstrated that the unmanned combat aerial vehicle has successfully proven its internal weapons station capability.
Critical Threshold for Stealth
The ability to conduct firings from an internal weapons bay enables KIZILELMA to translate its low radar cross-section (RCS) characteristic into an operational advantage. While external weapons stations increase a platform's radar signature, carrying munitions internally and launching them from within the fuselage makes the platform more difficult to detect by enemy radars. This feature represents a strategic capability that positions KIZILELMA in the same league as fifth-generation manned combat aircraft.
Joint Success from Three Companies
Two different munitions were used in the test. TEBER-82 is a laser-guided munition developed in collaboration between ROKETSAN and ASELSAN. TOLUN-P is a miniature bomb developed by ASELSAN, notable for its foldable wing configuration. Thanks to its compact design, TOLUN-P enables engagement against multiple targets in a single sortie.

Baykar's post making specific mention of ROKETSAN and ASELSAN indicates that Türkiye's leading defence companies are working in close collaboration on KIZILELMA's munitions integration. KIZILELMA had previously achieved a direct hit at a range of 120 kilometres using the ROKETSAN-built JET-230 supersonic missile.
