Acceptance tests have been completed for the Automatic Take-Off and Landing System (ATLS), which was developed domestically for the first time by Meteksan Defense and integrated into the ANKA UAV platform.
Acceptance tests for the Automatic Take-Off and Landing System (OKIS), which provides precise position information to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) automatic take-off and landing systems using radar technology and was developed domestically for the first time, have been completed. All tests of the OKIS Air Unit integrated into the ANKA UAV platform and the OKIS Ground Unit located at the runway edge have been successfully carried out.
OKIS, used for redundant and safe take-off and landing of UAVs, consists of two main units: the OKIS Air Unit, which includes the transponder and antenna on the UAV, and the OKIS Ground Unit, which operates with radar technology deployed on the runway. Due to its small size and weight, the OKIS Air Unit can be used on almost any segment of UAVs without significantly impacting payload capacity.
