TEMSA opened its first overseas production facility.

Temsa's factory in Egypt, built in partnership with Lasheen Group and with an annual production capacity of 500 buses and 500 minibuses, was officially opened with a ceremony.

Temsa, a Sabancı Holding company, inaugurated its factory in Egypt, built in partnership with Lasheen Group, with an annual production capacity of 500 buses and 500 minibuses.

Güler Sabancı, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding, speaking at the opening ceremony of the factory established in the 10th Ramadan Industrial Zone, 50 kilometers from Cairo, said that Sabancı Holding has been in a business partnership with Lasheen Group for 15 years, starting with the establishment of Nile Kordsa in 1993.

Sabancı stated that they have extended their close cooperation, which has lasted for 15 years, to the bus industry through their strategic partnership, adding, "With the strength and support of the Lasheen Group, we set out to become a regional power and subsequently create a global brand in buses." Sabancı noted that they successfully completed a very successful project at the right time, and that both buses have already been sold.
