Aselsan successfully generated a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image during its first mission-oriented test flight using its original Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system.
The unique SAR system will first be integrated into the ANKA unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), developed by TUSAŞ. The SAR system can be used in all weather conditions. This allows for imaging and moving target detection day and night, even in rainy and cloudy weather.
