The Turkish defense industry has rebounded after the slowdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019 and 2021. With new developments being announced almost daily, another piece of good news has come from TÜBİTAK SAGE.
The Laser Target Detector, a critical component for the domestically developed air-to-air missiles Bozdağan and Gökdoğan, has been nationalized, ending dependence on foreign sources in this area. These detectors, nationalized by TÜBİTAK SAGE, are also a crucial part of the Hisar A+ and Hisar O+ air defense missiles.
