ROKETSAN Submarine Defense Warfare (SDW) System is one of the most modern submarine defense warfare weapon systems, thanks to its automatic guidance capability, its ability to be detonated at the desired distance and depth, and its insensitive munition feature that provides the user with great safety.
The Submarine Defense Warfare (SDW) Rocket and Launcher System is a weapon system developed for use against underwater targets from surface platforms. It has a range of 500-2000 m and can be used at depths of 15-300 m. It is integrated with the surface platform's weapon management system and sonar and has automatic guidance capabilities.
The rockets can be fired at targets in single bursts or salvos, and thanks to their adjustable fuse feature, the rockets can be detonated at the desired depth. The ROKETSAN DSH rocket has a high-explosive warhead and also possesses the insensitive munition (IM) characteristic desired in modern ammunition.
The firing system has stabilization, automatic and manual guidance features. The fire control system calculates the necessary firing parameters using navigation and target information provided by the surface platform.
