The most significant feature distinguishing the COBRA II from its predecessor is its increased interior space and carrying capacity. The vehicle can safely transport 9 fully equipped personnel, including the driver and commander. This increased capacity provides a strategic advantage in squad-level deployments.
Otokar is undertaking this expansion without compromising on protection levels; on the contrary, it is raising the standards.
- Ballistic and Mine Protection: The hull structure and armor technology provide personnel with a high level of protection against mines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and kinetic energy munitions.
