Another strategically important product has been nationalized. Ismail Demir, the head of the Defense Industry, announced the good news on social media that the Turkish armed forces' handheld radios have been nationalized.
Defense Industry President İsmail Demir shared information that the strategically important handheld radios developed by Aselsan are resistant to electronic warfare and jamming, and that they are being exported. With this localization effort, the need for military handheld radios, previously met from abroad, will now be met domestically.
