Togg has taken another strategic step for its new economical product family in the B segment. The company, together with its battery partner CATL, visited TAYSAD (Association of Automotive Parts and Components Manufacturers), which represents Türkiye's automotive supply industry. During the meeting, the production and engineering capabilities of local suppliers were evaluated on-site, while localisation opportunities and future cooperation areas were discussed.

New Economical Product Family on the Way in the B Segment

The visit, announced on Togg's social media account with the message "We are shaping the future of mobility together," indicates that the company has begun supply chain preparations for its new model in the B segment. Togg is currently present in the market with its C-segment models, the T10X and T10F. Entry into the B segment is considered part of the brand's strategy to reach wider audiences.

Strategic Partnership with CATL Deepens

The cooperation between Togg and CATL, the world's largest battery manufacturer, is entering a new phase with this visit. The direct participation of CATL teams in the TAYSAD visit reveals that the integration between the two companies regarding the new B-segment model's battery and powertrain is deepening. This partnership and localisation move could help Togg achieve competitive battery cost and performance for its new model as well.

Strong Emphasis on the Local Supply Chain

The expressions "localisation opportunities" and "efforts to increase the added value created in Türkiye" in Togg's post particularly drew attention. This indicates that the company aims to keep the localisation rate high for its B-segment model as well. Considering TAYSAD's critical role in Türkiye's automotive supply industry, this visit can be considered an important step taken for the integration of local suppliers into the production ecosystem of the new model.

Togg's statement included the following: "We continue our work to increase the added value created in Türkiye and strengthen our mobility ecosystem."
