The second GÖKBEY helicopter, whose tests were completed by TUSAŞ, has been added to the inventory of the Gendarmerie General Command. Today, the second GÖKBEY helicopter delivered to the Gendarmerie will take the operational capabilities of our security forces one step further.
GÖKBEY is a unique general-purpose helicopter developed and manufactured by TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries). It is designed for various missions including transport, VIP transport, cargo, air ambulance, search and rescue, and offshore transport. Capable of performing effectively in high altitude and temperature conditions, both day and night, GÖKBEY is a significant indicator of our domestic and national production capabilities in the defense industry.
The Gendarmerie General Command successfully completed the delivery process of the second GÖKBEY helicopter and added it to its inventory.
