Founded in 1995, AKINSOFT, which has grown and developed with its vision and today works on artificial intelligence and humanoid robots in the field of Robotics Technologies for the benefit of humanity, presented AKINCI-2 to the public in its 18th year.
AKINCI-1, Türkiye's first commercially produced humanoid robot, could answer questions, easily perform mathematical operations, track images, and execute commands. In addition, it possessed the ability to perfectly mimic the human muscular system and movements. AKINCI-2, the first commercially produced humanoid mobile robot in Türkiye, possesses the same capabilities as AKINCI-1, but can also stand and walk, identify multiple objects by focusing, maintain its balance against external physical impacts, perceive its environment in 3D, focus on people nearby, grasp objects using its hands, search encyclopedic databases using the internet and explain what it is asked to research, and be controlled and monitored via voice processing and wireless network. Weighing 65 kilograms and standing 1.60 meters tall, AKINCI-2 has a humanoid structure consisting of 46 joints in total: 26 on the torso and 20 in the hands. AKINCI-2, which can stand on its own feet without any support, precisely executes the commands given by Özgür AKIN, Chairman of the Board of AKINSOFT and a Computer Engineer, and draws its energy from the lithium-polymer batteries on board.
