ASPİLSAN Energy has certified the quality of its INR18650-A28 lithium-ion battery cells, produced at its factory in Kayseri, according to international quality standards.

ASPİLSAN Energy has focused on the European market by establishing Türkiye's first lithium-ion battery production facility. Operating in a 25,000 square meter covered area in the Kayseri Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone, the factory commenced mass production in June 2022. The company has certified the quality of its INR18650-A28 lithium-ion battery cells according to international quality standards.

ASPİLSAN Energy General Manager Ferhat Özsoy, in his statement regarding the accreditation process, stated that the performance and safety capabilities of the battery cells meet international quality standards and that they have received numerous certifications. Initially, ASPİLSAN completed the certification process under IATA's UN38.3 standard to ensure battery quality and transportation safety, testing the durability of A28 battery cells under harsh conditions. It was also emphasized that the A28 batteries, meeting the requirements published by the IEC (International Standards Committee), successfully passed safety and performance tests and were certified.

In addition to these achievements, tests and analyses conducted by the German company Batemo GmbH have indicated that ASPİLSAN INR18650A28 cells exhibit high performance. Batemo GmbH has included these results in independent cell performance evaluations and incorporated them into its battery libraries.

ASPİLSAN Energy has stated that it will continue its efforts to meet customer demands and fulfill testing and certification needs specific to different countries, sectors, or products in the coming period. The company will continue its operations with the goal of becoming a significant battery exporter in 2023.
