It was reported that more than 50,000 records were taken on the first day using the fingerprint recognition system, developed by BİYOTEKSAN and put into service in the Population Registration Offices of the Republic of Turkey.

What is BIOTEXAN?

BİYOTEKSAN, which produces national and corporate products and solutions with domestic and national biometric technologies, is a subsidiary of POLSAN and HAVELSAN.

Establishing a domestic, fast, efficient, and reliable biometric identification system is essential for the benefit of our country and the security of its individuals.

Individuals' unique biological characteristics (biometrics such as fingerprints, palm vein patterns, and iris maps) are increasingly being used to identify them. Ensuring the security of biometric data, frequently used in daily life on mobile phones, in hospitals, and in banks, is a matter of national security. BİYOTEKSAN was established for this purpose, to ensure that our citizens' biometric data remains within our country, is protected to the highest standards, and is also easily accessible to facilitate daily life.
