Testing has begun on the weapon and defense systems of HÜRKUŞ-C, the advanced and armed version of the Hürkuş, a primary and basic training aircraft developed with national resources.
Ismail Demir, the head of the Defense Industry, shared a video on his official Twitter account showing the HÜRKUŞ-C's defense systems being tested.
In addition to being a training aircraft, the Hürkuş is also being prepared for close air support missions with its weaponry and protection systems. pic.twitter.com/yRej7rAjAd

The HÜRKUŞ-C Project was initiated by TUSAŞ (TAI) within the scope of the HÜRKUŞ Project, with the aim of developing our initial and basic training aircraft, produced using domestic resources, into a light armed reconnaissance and attack aircraft to meet the needs of the Land Forces Command and the Gendarmerie General Command.
