TUSAŞ and TAAC continue their activities to develop motion control systems, landing gear, and test systems that comply with aviation standards, primarily for the National Combat Aircraft and HÜRJET.
TAAC, which carries out R&D, design, and production activities for critical subsystems of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, develops projects in the field of aviation technologies. In this context, the company continues to develop the flight control system, landing gear, and weapon hatch opening/closing mechanisms of the National Combat Aircraft, which will roll out of the hangar in 2023. Furthermore, the company is designing and installing the Demir Kuş Test System, where many tests and verification studies of the HÜRJET will be carried out, within the Turkish Aerospace Industries facilities.
TAAC, aiming to reduce dependence on foreign sources in aviation technologies within the national aviation ecosystem, contributes to localization and domestic substitution systems for the independent aviation industry with its qualified engineering staff. Continuing its projects towards the domestic development of all motion control systems required by an aircraft, the company aims to accelerate its efforts to export these critical systems in the coming years, leveraging the value it creates for aviation.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAAC) General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil stated, “Our work continues on domestic and national technologies in the aviation field. TAAC Aviation Technologies, our joint venture with Altınay Aviation, is carrying out important projects to bring the systems that the sector needs in critical areas to our country with national resources. These systems, which will also be included on the National Combat Aircraft that will roll out of the hangar in 2023, will contribute to our country's domestic, original, and independent aviation ecosystem. I would like to thank our colleagues who contributed to these projects.”.
Hakan Altınay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ALTINAY Technology Group, stated: “For many years, we have been working to break our dependence on foreign sources in the defense and aviation sector and to strengthen and advance our country in this field. With our joint venture with TUSAŞ, TAAC Aviation Technologies, we are taking these efforts even further, particularly in critical aviation components. We will be implementing projects that have never been developed within Turkey's borders before, primarily for our National Combat Aircraft, which is a project for the survival of our country, and many other domestic air platforms. I would like to thank all our colleagues who have dedicated their efforts to the development and strengthening of our country.”
