The Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) announced via a video that all work has been completed as part of the M60T Tank modernization project.

Within the scope of the FIRAT-M60T Project, which aims to provide M60T main battle tanks with more effective protection against anti-tank threats and terrorist elements, and to add capabilities to existing systems, modern warfare-compliant protection systems (Aselsan Active Protection System Pulat, 360-degree laser detection system, etc.) have been added to the M60T main battle tanks.

The M60T modernization resulted in one of the most modern tanks in the world.
