Meteksan Defense has eliminated dependence on foreign suppliers for the receivers and antennas of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) found in military platforms.
Until recently, Türkiye relied solely on globally recognized, foreign-made GPS (Gas Tracking System) solutions for its national projects. With the recent direct or covert embargoes, the development of critical subsystems for national military projects using domestic resources has become a significant necessity.
Within this scope, Meteksan Defense, which initiated its own studies, developed a national GPS (Gas Tracking System) solution as an alternative to the GPS solutions that were previously dependent on foreign sources and are of critical importance for national military projects.
