Roketsan has announced the TRLG-230, a new generation laser-guided artillery missile that is the latest addition to the TRG-230 missile family with a range of 20-70 km.
President Erdoğan announced the new generation artillery missile system, developed and tested by Roketsan, during his opening speech at the opening of Roketsan's Satellite Launch Space Systems and Advanced Technologies Research Center and Explosive Raw Material Production Facility.
Targets identified by domestically produced UAVs will be struck with pinpoint accuracy from the ground using the new generation TRLG-230 artillery missile system.
Footage of a test firing as part of the integration of a laser seeker head into the TRG-230 Missile System, initiated by Roketsan in April 2020, has been released for the first time. In these images, a target marked by a laser from a Bayraktar TB2 UAV manufactured by BAYKAR was successfully struck by the Laser-Guided 230 mm Missile System (TRLG-230). The Laser-Guided 230 mm Missile System (TRLG-230) will be able to strike targets marked by UAVs and UCAVs from the ground. This new development will significantly enhance the capabilities of our soldiers in the field.
