Defence and aerospace exports reached $634 million in September, a 10.7 per cent increase, and $6.9 billion in the first nine months of the year, a 15.6 per cent increase. Exports over the last 12 months amounted to $10.9 billion.

SSB President Görgün and Lieutenant General Dalkıran flew HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET. Detection and lock-on tests were conducted from HÜRJET P2 against P1 using ASELSAN's MURAD AESA radar. The first HÜRKUŞ-II deliveries are imminent.
HÜRKUŞ-II has received its Military Type Certificate following the verification of 1,790 requirements and 153 tests. Under the certificate – Türkiye's first national certification – 55 aircraft will be produced.
Türkiye signed agreements at the NATO Defence Industry Forum in the fields of strike capabilities, air defence, space, critical raw materials and UAV superiority. ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, STM and TÜBİTAK will act as contractors.
ROKETSAN has integrated a seeker head onto the TAYFUN ballistic missile for the first time. In a test conducted with the Block-3 variant, the missile struck a moving target with pinpoint accuracy. This capability, possessed by only a handful of countries worldwide, was employed for the first time in Türkiye.
ROKETSAN's SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System successfully destroyed its target with a direct hit during a live-fire test. Haluk Görgün: "We are reinforcing our layered air defence architecture with new capabilities."
Defence and aerospace exports reached $802.8 million in June, a 29.6 per cent increase, while over the past 12 months they surpassed the $11 billion mark for the first time. In the first half of the year, total exports amounted to $4.7 billion.
Türkiye's first domestically developed heart-lung machine, LIFELINE HLM, developed in collaboration between ASELSAN and the Ministry of Health, has successfully completed its first clinical surgery. Haluk Görgün: "A valuable achievement for our technological independence."
