Ismail Demir, head of the Defense Industry, announced on his social media account that the serial production and integration of the PULAT Electronic Warfare Active Protection System, developed by ASELSAN, into M60T tanks is continuing.
PULAT, Active Protection System
Equipped with advanced radar technology, it detects threats directed at the platform, then neutralizes them with its "Hard-Kill" capability at the appropriate time and distance before the threat hits the platform. Depending on the module placement, PULAT has comprehensive coverage against both close-range anti-tank rockets and long-range guided anti-tank missiles.
It provides a complete 360° protective shield. Thanks to the protection modules distributed across the platform, it provides simultaneous effectiveness against multiple threats.
