SUBMARINE RESCUE MOTHER SHIP (MOSHIP)

The Turkish Naval Forces have initiated a project to procure a Submarine Rescue Mother Ship (MOSHIP) that will provide surface and underwater rescue capabilities in heavy seas. Equipped with NATO and US deep-water rescue vessels, the Submarine Rescue Mother Ship (MOSHIP) will provide life support to personnel in damaged submarines, enable the rescue of personnel from submarines up to a depth of 600 meters, and carry out rescue missions for surface vessels, underwater operations, and wreck removal operations.
