The delivery of 6 HÜRKUŞ Basic Training Aircraft, manufactured by TUSAŞ, to the Turkish Armed Forces will begin in February.
Developed by TUSAŞ to meet the Turkish Armed Forces' need for a basic training aircraft, Turkey's first basic training aircraft, HÜRKUŞ, is preparing to enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. The delivery of 6 HÜRKUŞ basic training aircraft, planned to begin in February, is expected to be completed in May.
Hürkuş is the first Turkish aircraft to receive type certification from the European Civil Aviation Authority.
In addition to flight tests, strength, lifespan, and damage tolerance tests were successfully carried out on two separate structural aircraft produced. Within the scope of the project, 545 documents were prepared for submission to EASA and SHGM (Turkish Civil Aviation Authority). All maintenance and upkeep documents were also prepared. As a result of all these efforts, on July 11, 2016, the “TT32 Aircraft Type Certificate” for the HÜRKUŞ New Generation Basic Training Aircraft was obtained from SHGM. On the same day, EASA also issued the “EASA Validated Type Certificate,” making SHGM's certificate valid for all European countries. Thus, HÜRKUŞ became the first Turkish aircraft to receive a type certificate from the European Civil Aviation Authority.

Hürkuş’un motor sorunu da acilen çözülmesi gereken konulardan biri. Ambargo olmadan yerli bir çözüm üretilir inşallah.
