Karsan has sold a total of 89 e-ATAK buses to 6 different operators in Luxembourg, to be used on both urban and intercity routes.

Yurt dışı atağını 2022’de de sürdüren elektrikli mobilitenin öncüsü Karsan, e-ATAK modeli ile Avrupa’nın en büyük elektrikli midibüs filosunun satışına imzasını attı. Bu yıla vites yükselterek ihracatta bir önceki yıla göre üç kat büyüme planı ile giriş yapan Karsan, Lüksemburg’un şehiriçi ve şehirlerarası hatlarında çalışmak üzere 89 adetlik elektrikli otobüsün satışını gerçekleştirdi. Karsan’ın, %50 ortağı olduğu ve Fransa, Luxemburg, Belçika ve İsviçre’de Karsan markasının satış ve servis networkünü yöneten HCI aracılığı ile hayata geçirilen proje kapsamında e-ATAK’lar düzenlenen görkemli etkinlikle teslim edildi.
Karsan's entry into Luxembourg City with this project also marks Türkiye's and Karsan's largest single export of electric buses and the delivery of the largest electric bus fleet. In Luxembourg, which is accelerating its environmentally friendly steps to achieve zero carbon emissions, Karsan is thus one of the biggest contributors to the electrification of its bus fleet.

Pazar verilerine göre (Chatrou, 2021), 2021 yılında 8-15 ton arası elektrikli midibüs sınıfında %30’luk pay ile Avrupa segment lideri olan Karsan e-Atak, şimdi de Luxemburg’u fethediyor. Lüksemburg’da 2012-2021 arasında 8 ton üstü toplam 161 adet elektrikli otobüs tescil edilirken, ülkede hizmet verecek olacak 89 adetlik Karsan e-ATAK filosu da sadece Luxemburg’un değil, Avrupa’nın da en büyük elektrikli midibüs filosu oluyor. 89 adetlik Karsan e-ATAK satışı ile birlikte Lüksemburg pazarı toplu ulaşımda genişlerken, Karsan da bu pazardan ciddi bir pay sahibi olacak görünüyor. Karsan, önümüzdeki dönemde de Luxemburg’daki otobüslerin elektriklenme sürecini hızlandırmaya devam edecek.

Highlighting that Karsan achieved firsts in electric vehicle tenders in 2021 and has undertaken significant projects in growing markets for electric transformation such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, and Lithuania, Karsan CEO Okan Baş stated, “Following this delivery of 89 vehicles, Karsan's largest electric vehicle fleet is now in Luxembourg, after France and Romania. Karsan's electric vehicles, present in 19 different countries around the world, continue to expand in countries such as France, Romania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Bulgaria. Our Karsan electric vehicle fleet, currently exceeding 350, continues to serve on European roads. This year will be a year for us to enter new export markets with our electric models and achieve three times the growth in electric vehicles compared to 2021.’.
Karsan e-ATAK will also provide intercity service in Luxembourg!
The Karsan e-ATAK, with its comfortable new passenger seats equipped with seat belts developed specifically for the market, will serve not only in urban transportation but also on intercity public transport lines in Luxembourg. Powered by proven 220 kWh BMW batteries, the Karsan e-ATAK boasts a class-leading range of 300 km. With its 8.3-meter length and 230 kW electric motor, the e-ATAK can be charged in 5 hours with AC charging units and in 3 hours with fast charging units.
