One of the dreams of Kaan Onuk, who lost his life in a traffic accident after designing patrol boats serving in the navies of seven countries, is coming true. His father, Dr. Ekber Onuk, who developed the car called 'Sazan', which Kaan first drew, at the patrol boat shipyard in Tuzla, is preparing to mass produce the S56, a completely Turkish-designed car.

Dr. Ekber Onuk, who dreams of a completely original Turkish-designed sports car, is very close to realizing his dream. Following the Sazan and Sazan LM racing cars, the first of their kind produced at the Onuk shipyard, two more vehicles, one of which is electric, have been designed and manufactured. Dr. Ekber Onuk, who is continuing negotiations for the mass production of the Onuk S56, has reached an agreement with Ford (OTOSAN), where he was formerly employed. Ford has decided to equip the S56 with an engine and offer it to the Turkish and US markets.
