The Ministry of National Defense Firing Test and Evaluation Center (ATDM), established by ROKETSAN in Karapınar, Konya, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoğlu on March 24, 2015.
ATDM was established as a turnkey project under a contract signed in 2011 between the NATO National Replenishment Agency (NSPA) and ROKETSAN. The project was completed in 38 months.
ATDM, an international standard testing center capable of meeting the needs of both Turkish defense industry institutions and organizations as well as foreign companies, provides extremely important advantages in national projects such as protecting confidentiality, shortening R&D processes, and increasing firing safety.
Designed for the first time in the world with the technical coordination of ROKETSAN, the Firing Test and Evaluation Center (ATDM) features numerous data measurement, recording, and tracking systems, including Multi-Sensor Optical Tracking and Radar Systems. It also houses portable optical systems capable of real-time data transmission and long-range tracking radar systems. ATDM is a technologically advanced test center that can compete with other test sites in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and South Africa.
