The qualification tests for the SABER-25 Tower have been completed.

Long-range firing tests of the SABER-25 turret were conducted between June 22-26 at the firing range located in Karapınar district of Konya, under the Ministry of National Defence.

The project's design phase began in November 2013 with support from TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), and after prototype production, qualification and firing tests were completed in June 2015.

The SABER-25 is a single-person, medium-caliber, electrically powered turret that can be integrated into wheeled and tracked armored vehicles. The turret is equipped with an M242 25 mm dual-feed automatic cannon as its main weapon. The turret holds 240 rounds of 25 mm ammunition ready for firing for the main weapon. In addition to the main weapon, the SABER-25 turret also features a 7.62 mm machine gun. The turret holds 600 rounds of ammunition ready for firing for the machine gun.
