Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has successfully delivered the ninth and final T129 ATAK Early Entry Helicopter, produced under the ATAK Program, to the Turkish Armed Forces.
The first fleet delivered under the contract represents a significant milestone for the Turkish Aerospace and Defense Industry. Within the scope of this project, which was realized primarily with the contributions of the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry as the procurement authority and the Turkish Land Forces Command as the user authority, the last T129 ATAK EDH Helicopter took off from TUSAŞ's Akıncı Facilities, a subsidiary of the Turkish Armed Forces Strengthening Foundation (TSKGV), on July 31, 2015, and entered the inventory of the Land Forces Command.
