Türkiye's high-resolution domestic reconnaissance satellite, GÖKTÜRK 2, has completed its first year in orbit.
Turkey will provide 100% R&D support to high-budget projects for the development and production of TÜRKSAT 6A.

TUSAŞ has received Design Organization Certification from the European Aviation Authority (EASA) for its HÜRKUŞ training aircraft.
TUSAŞ, Özgün Helikopter Projesi'ne yönelik Teknik ve Ekonomik Fizibilite Etüdü Savunma Sanayi Müsteşarlığı'na teslim edilmiştir.
HÜRKUŞ'un montajı ve üretimi tamamlanarak, 27 Haziran 2012 tarihinde TUSAŞ, Kazan tesislerinde düzenlenen törenle hangardan çıkarılmıştır.
