New Success from Turkish Defense Industry: ANKA 3 and Hürjet Made History with Arm Flight

TUSAŞ announced that the ANKA 3 unmanned aerial vehicle and the Hürjet jet training and light attack aircraft performed formation flights in the air during test flights conducted today.

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) announced today that the ANKA 3 unmanned aerial vehicle and the Hürjet jet trainer and light attack aircraft performed a formation flight during test flights. This historic moment was revealed in a video shared on TUSAŞ's social media accounts.

This successful flight is a demonstration of the future capabilities of the Turkish Air Force. The ANKA-3 and Hürjet completed their 50-minute flight at an altitude of 7,000 feet and a speed of 165 knots. This marks a new stage in the unmanned aerial vehicle capabilities of the Turkish defense industry and brings us one step closer to the goal of controlling unmanned combat aircraft from manned aircraft in the future.

This flight, marking ANKA 3’s 8th and Hürjet's 66th sortie, can be seen as proof that the Turkish Air Force has acquired the capability to conduct sophisticated operations. Furthermore, this development heralds the imminent arrival of KAAN and ANKA 4, who will also perform similar formation flights.

This significant step by the Turkish defense industry reinforces the country's independence and technological progress in the aviation and aerospace fields. It also increases international interest in Türkiye's defense projects and allows the country to showcase its capabilities in this area on a global scale.
