TUSAŞ announced that it successfully completed the third test flight of the ANKA-3 (low radar visibility) unmanned combat aircraft, developed with national engineering capabilities.
Equipped with features such as advanced flight capabilities, autopilot and flight mechanics tests, and increased ammunition capacity, the ANKA-3 is expected to play a significant role in reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence, and combat missions.
The ANKA III, the third member of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) family, completed a two-hour flight. Reaching an altitude of 10,000 feet during the flight, the ANKA-3 demonstrated its low radar visibility and potential for attacking ground targets. The ANKA-3 has the capacity to carry up to 650 kg of ammunition in its internal stations and 100 kg in its external stations. Compatible with commonly used munitions such as bunker busters, the UAV boasts a high payload capacity thanks to its numerous ammunition stations.
ANKA-3, which is still under development and testing, is continuously making improvements based on information obtained from previous flight data. The team, focusing on performance and mission readiness, is evaluating the autopilot and flight mechanics.
ANKA-3's future operational capabilities include reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence gathering. Equipped for various combat missions, the UAV also has the ability to perform electronic warfare and communications tasks.
This development is seen as a significant indicator of Türkiye's progress in the field of defense technologies, and it is widely believed that ANKA-3 will provide a strategic advantage in future battlefields.

ANKA-3 is a low-radar-visibility unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with electronic warfare capabilities. Designed by TUSAŞ with national engineering capabilities, it is intended for air-to-ground pressure, destruction or suppression of enemy air defense systems, intelligence-reconnaissance-surveillance, and electronic warfare missions.
ANKA-3 is designed for low radar visibility and is capable of carrying a variety of munitions. It is integrated with internal weapon stations and external tethering systems. External station options include general-purpose bombs equipped with TEBER-82 and TEBER-81 guidance kits.
